Vintage Japanese silk kimono fabric 62" x 14" (152 cm x 36 cm) Taisho era silk hand painted persimmon and peony
Gorgeous Taisho era (the 1920's) silk Japanese kimono fabric with hand painted design of fans with with flowers, persimmon and peony, lightweight, thin, silk.
This is a vintage piece taken from an old kimono so there may be some minor imperfections. The brown ground has a woven pattern of large leaves and peony flowers.
In good condition, it measures 152 cm x 35 cm (62" x 14") approx
All fabric is burn tested to determine content.
Please be aware that these are Vintage pieces of fabric that have been unpicked. So there are tiny holes where the stitching has been depending on the weight of the fabric these may be more or less visible.
Regarding the colour, please understand that it may look different according to your monitor or other circumstances. If you are unsure please ask questions before bidding!
All items are described to the best of my ability there may be small or minor flaws which I have overlooked but I try to be as accurate as possible in my listing.
I am happy to combine postage. Due to a large family and 4 small children, I am only able to post off items once a week. Please bear this in mind when bidding :)
