Vintage Japanese silk kimono obi-age pink silk with two toned shibori 120 cm long
Beautiful Japanese soft silk Kimono obi-age. Used to tie under your obi when wearing a kimono formally it also makes a wonderful scarf. This one is a full shibori on both ends left plain. Pink with a two tone shibori dyed. It creates a dark and pale pink contrast very pleasing to the eye. It measures 120 cm long approx, 14 cm wide on the shibori. Ends have been finished with pinking shears.
The obi-age is shiboried to give it a unique stretchy quality. This is a vintage item.
Very good condition with no obvious flaws, All fabrics are burn tested to determine content.
Please be aware that these are Vintage pieces of fabric that have been unpicked. So there are tiny holes where the stitching has been depending on the weight of the fabric these may be more or less visible.
All items are described to the best of my ability there may be small or minor flaws which I have overlooked but I try to be as accurate as possible in my listing.
I am happy to combine postage. Due to a large family and 4 small children, I am only able to post off items once a week. Please bear this in mind when bidding :)
